At times I contemplate the question: “What’s In A Name?”

I ponder this because I’ve met many people in my life, some with the same first name, and even others with the same first and last. I’ve also met people whose names I’d never heard until that moment, but I’m certain the trend of having a similar name is something that occurs in their particular cultures as well!

The fact that you may share a name with someone, I know I do (…surprisingly with a last name like mine…), is just a symptom of humanity and culture. If you look throughout history, names, especially first names go in trends and cycles. Bruce was popular in the ’20s through the ’70s and died down in popularity after that. However, there are millions of Bruce’s in the world due to this name’s popularity at those times.
